My Etch-A-Sketch
started channeling the dead
now everyone dead and gone
writes me in shaky lines
and the waiting list is just about a mile long
and it's so mega-unimportant,
all the stuff they write
and if The Rapture came between us,
that would be outta site!

I smashed my Etch-A-Sketch to bits
and I hope the dead don't catch on
I've got one on my keychain
and the waiting list is just about a mile long
it's so mega-unimportant all the stuff they write
to me as gods speak through all our poets and writers
who think that they're cleverly writing their epics of fiction
which are just superimposed visions
